Who We Are
The Bangladesh Association of Michigan (BAM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting unity, cultural heritage, civic engagement, and mutual support among Bangladeshi Americans throughout Michigan.
Founded on the principles of inclusivity, community service, and cultural preservation, BAM serves as a bridge between generations while fostering strong connections with the broader Michigan community. Through cultural festivals, educational programs, community forums, charitable initiatives, and civic engagement activities, BAM works to celebrate the rich traditions of Bangladesh while encouraging active participation in American society.
Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, BAM has become one of the leading Bangladeshi-American community organizations in the Midwest. The organization proudly hosts the annual Bangladeshi American Festival, community town halls, educational seminars, youth programs, cultural celebrations, charitable initiatives, and leadership development opportunities that bring together thousands of community members each year.
